Annual inflation increased in 75 Russian regions in January, while it remained unchanged or declined month on month in the rest of the regions.
The most significant acceleration was observed in service prices, with food and non-food prices growing at a consistent pace.
“Inflation remains high, and interest rates should be maintained at a high level for a long time to bring it back to 4% in 2026.”
