The Bank of Canada Museum is set to launch a nationwide tour of its acclaimed exhibition, “Money in 10 Questions: Kids Edition.” The tour will begin at the Lloydminster Museum + Archives from January 31 to April 27, 2025.

This exhibition aims to engage young audiences and families through play-based learning. It recently received an Award of Excellence from Interpretation Canada. The exhibition’s development involved collecting over 800 questions from young Canadians about money. These questions ranged from thoughtful and complex to playful. The exhibit focuses on ten selected questions, including “Why do you have to work for money?” and “Can money be dinosaur bones?” The goal is to help children develop a strong understanding of financial management.

Key features of the exhibition include learning about compound interest, discovering unique forms of money, and meeting a young entrepreneur. Visitors can explore these themes interactively.

The Lloydminster Museum + Archives will host the first stop on this three-year tour across Canadian communities.
