The Bank of England has released the Bank of England Levy Notification Document for the 2025/26 levy year on its website. This document outlines the anticipated levy requirement for the current year, as specified in the Bank of England Levy Framework Document.
This year’s notification includes the Total Eligible Liability (TEL) figure, which is used to calculate the levy amount payable by individual firms. This addition follows feedback from levy payers in the previous year.
Levy payers will soon receive invoices detailing their contributions for the 2025/26 levy year. Any inquiries should be directed to BoELevy@bankofengland.co.uk.
