In August, the Bank of Russia reported a slight increase in the amount of incoming payments compared to July. However, this figure was still 6.4% lower than the average for the second quarter of 2025.

When excluding sectors such as mining and quarrying, manufacture of petroleum products, and general government, receipts dropped by 6.1%. The volume of payments stayed below the second-quarter average across almost all major industry groups.

Further details are provided in the latest issue of the review “Monitoring of Sectoral Financial Flows.”
