Bank of Russia reports decline in payment volumes for third quarter of 2025

Over the third quarter of 2025, the volume of incoming payments processed through the Bank of Russia Payment System dropped by 7.3% compared to the previous quarter. According to data released by the Bank of Russia, payment activity in September remained similar to August but was lower than the average seen in the second quarter of 2025. The decline was observed across all industry groups.
