Bank of Russia reports moderate growth in economic activity for September

The Bank of Russia reported that its Business Climate Index reached 1.8 points in September, a slight decrease from 2.0 points recorded in August.

According to the central bank, businesses saw a drop in current output and demand estimates. However, their expectations for the next three months improved compared to August. The report also noted that business price expectations stayed high.

The findings are part of the September issue of the information and analytical commentary “Monitoring of Businesses: Assessments, Expectations and Comments.”
