The Bank of Russia has reported that its Business Climate Index for May stands at 5.1 points, showing a slight increase from April’s 5.0 points. This indicates a stable level of business activity.

Businesses have expressed an improved assessment of the current situation. However, their short-term expectations have become more moderate, suggesting caution in future projections. Additionally, businesses’ price expectations have been on a downward trend for five consecutive months.
