Bank of Russia’s Business Climate Index rises to 2.1 points in August

The Bank of Russia reported that its Business Climate Index reached 2.1 points in August, up from 1.3 points in July.

According to the central bank, current output estimates from enterprises have decreased. However, short-term expectations for both output and demand among companies were more positive compared to the previous month. The bank also noted a slight increase in business price expectations.
