The Coin Week event in Russia is taking place from April 7 to April 19, 2025, allowing individuals to exchange their coins for banknotes at banks and chain stores. Bank offices also enable customers to credit these amounts to their accounts.

The 2025 event sees a significant increase in participation, with over 34,000 stores and around 4,000 bank offices ready to accept coins from people without any additional fees. For detailed terms and locations of participants, individuals are encouraged to visit the website монетнаянеделя.рф.

In the previous year, Coin Week was organized twice, successfully bringing 75 million coins worth 320 million rubles back into circulation. The coins collected weighed 366 tonnes, which are estimated to require more than five goods wagons for transportation.
