The total weight of the coins collected reached 235 tonnes, marking a 17.5% rise compared to autumn 2024 figures. Coins of denominations of 1-, 2-, and 5-rubles constituted half of the total weight. Moscow and the Moscow Region, St Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, along with the Krasnodar Territory were noted for collecting the largest number of coins.

Banks and stores continue to accept coins for exchange into banknotes or crediting them to accounts. Details on participating locations and terms can be found on the website монетнаянеделя.рф.

Individuals are encouraged not to wait for special events to circulate their coins; they should use them for everyday transactions.
