At a recent meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty, an agreement was signed to facilitate cross-border access for EAEU issuers to on-exchange trading. The Agreement on Cross-border Admission to Placement and Circulation of Securities on Exchanges in EAEU Member States marks a significant step towards establishing a common financial market within the member states.

This is the first document aimed at regulating the securities market across these countries. It allows exchanges from EAEU nations to list securities from issuers of other member states under equally favorable conditions.
