In September 2025, inflation rates slowed in 41 out of 85 regions across Russia. Compared to August, average prices either decreased or stayed the same in eight regions. The costs of fruit and vegetables, dairy butter, and sunflower oil continued to fall. However, prices for several non-food products such as fuel, medical goods, perfumes, and cosmetics increased. Used cars, tools, and equipment saw further price declines.

Foreign travel became more expensive again in September. Prices for education services also rose during this period, which is typical for the month.

The Bank of Russia continues to implement a tight monetary policy with the goal of reducing inflation to 4%. More detailed information on inflation trends by region can be found in the Bank’s published analytical materials.
