The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has announced the appointment of new members to its Governance Board and Monetary Policy Board. The statement from the Governor highlights gratitude towards outgoing board members Carol Schwartz AO and Elana Rubin AM for their contributions.

The Governor expressed appreciation for the agreement of current board members to continue serving on the Monetary Policy Board. He also welcomed Marnie Baker and Renee Fry-McKibbin, noting that their expertise will be crucial in efforts to manage inflation.

New appointees Swati Dave, Danny Gilbert AM, David Thodey AO, and Jennifer Westacott AO are expected to support and oversee management as the RBA undergoes transformation.
