Stephen I. Miran was sworn in as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System on September 16, 2025. The oath of office was administered by Judge Elizabeth L. Branch from the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Dr. Miran’s nomination came from President Trump on September 2, 2025, and he received confirmation from the United States Senate on September 15, 2025. His term as a Board member is set to end on January 31, 2026.
