Inflation slows down in 47 Russian regions as non-food prices rise

Annual inflation rates in Russian regions remained elevated in October, although a slowdown was observed in 47 regions. Notable decelerations occurred in the Orenburg and Irkutsk Regions.

The rise in service prices showed signs of slowing, particularly in airfares and foreign tourism services. Food prices, especially for meat, eggs, and vegetables, also experienced a slower rate of increase. In contrast, non-food prices saw an accelerated growth.

Further information on regional inflation can be found on the Bank of Russia website.
