The Bank of Russia's Business Climate Index (BCI) recorded a figure of 3.8 points in January, down from 4.3 points in December. This indicates that business activity continued to grow, but at a slower pace compared to the previous month.
While the overall outlook remains positive, expectations for demand and output over the next three months have become more cautious. Despite an increase over the past four months, business price expectations did not change in January.
Business investment activity showed growth during the fourth quarter of 2024.
