The regulator has introduced a new method for calculating the rankings of banks, which will take into account the number of legitimate complaints against a credit institution during a calendar year and their ratio to the number of loans existing in that period. This initiative aims to provide consumers with the ability to select the most customer-oriented banks from all credit institutions.
Banks deemed systemically important will be ranked separately from other banks. According to this calculation method, credit institutions will be ranked in descending order based on this indicator. Financial institutions receiving no more than one complaint over a year or those without a banking license at the time of calculation will not be included in the ranking list.
The regulator plans to release the first set of rankings in April 2025, using data from 2024.
