The Bank of Russia has announced the details of the Financial Congress program, now accessible on the event's official website.
Participants can expect two plenary sessions on the first day, July 2. The economic plenary session will explore the conditions necessary for sustainable economic growth and the macroeconomic policy's contribution to these conditions. The second session will focus on trends and future prospects in the Russian financial market.
Over the subsequent two days, July 3 and 4, attendees will engage in discussions on varied subjects. These include medium-term challenges for the Russian economy, risks to the financial system, the capital market's development and potential growth drivers, banking regulation priorities, mass utilization issues of long-term instruments, and barriers to this utilization. Other topics include the ideal collaboration model between government and businesses for developing a national digital infrastructure in the financial market.
The Congress will feature a total of 21 panel sessions. Participants include the Bank of Russia's leadership and representatives from leading Russian financial institutions, government bodies, and the expert community.
The Congress is scheduled in St Petersburg from July 2 to 4, 2025.
