The Swiss National Bank (SNB) has unveiled twelve designs for its upcoming banknote series and is inviting the public to participate in a survey to evaluate them. The survey will be open from August 13, 2025, to September 7, 2025, and is managed by an opinion polling company. Both the designs and the survey can be accessed at www.newbanknoteseries.ch.
The SNB expressed gratitude to all designers who submitted their interpretations of the theme “Switzerland and its altitudes” in various artistic forms. In this initial phase of the competition, both the public and an advisory board of external experts will assess the designs. The top six entries will advance to a second phase that will consider potential collaboration and commercial factors.
